South Coast Railway News
2016 News Update 2 Although I have not run any trains I have been busy doing other bits. New stations and other buildings have been purchased for the long over due extension. More on these in the next news edition.
Little has changed on the line due to more work commitments elsewhere, but new stock has arrived. First was the Ex SE&CR S Class Saddle Tank finished in a BR Black Livery. This loco has come to the line fully working but to be an efficient part of the fleet, it needs to be re-wheeled. The next arrival is a third Canadian Pacific, this one has a Gresley style tender and is in a non-working order. Restoration will start as soon as time is available. Heavy chassis work has already been done. After the locos comes some new rolling stock, A GWR Clerestry, a Royal Mail Coach and a Curtain side bogie wagon, all in full running order. |
